22nd March 2019 4 pm - Mindfulness
MINDFULNESS - a lecture, discussion with guests + happening
In the current society, what role is played by persons with mental disorder? How does the New Aliens community work with nonmodels that have a mental “illness” diagnosis? Problems and questions about our mind and shattered head.
The main point will be a hosted discussion “My Name Is Not a Diagnosis” as part of the NA ROVINU / ONE LEVEL initiative, which will attempt to sum up the topic of mental health, and three guests will give account of their life story and problems they have experienced concerning the mental health issue.
The New Aliens and members of the NA ROVINU initiative will launch discussion with the public and their guests. After the lecture, a happening in the form of a joint breathing meditation under professional guidance will take place.

Discussion on cultural identity and a PXS experimental lecture.
DISCUSSION – 4 pm
We invite those who grew up in two cultures.
We invite those who carry two national identities.
We invite those who condemned their original identity.
We invite those who feel they are slowly loosing their roots.
We invite those who feel sensitive about the symbols of home and mother country.
We invite those who are not afraid to speak about intimacy.
We will talk in a circle sharing what it means to live in an ethnic minority. We’ll try to build hype, overcome the barrier, join together, and find understanding and empathy within the circle. The outcome will be a happening.
FLOW – 6 pm
Mgr. Peter Susan Šagát Phd. will present his multimedia flow dealing with topics such as vulnerability, emotions, intuition, intimacy and sexuality. With his performative approach he will explore the concentration of information as well as the viewers’ attention.
The discussion will run between New Aliens and the public.

Discussion on the trend of drinking raw vegan juices.
Why is a juicer the last trend in healthy food? And is it a mere trend or a natural development in a post-capitalist society and an answer to the planet’s environmental problems? The discussion will evolve between New Aliens, the public and the guests. Starring - fruitarian and nonmodel Alex Wortex.

JAKUB RA is a visual artist, performer, creative manager, LGBTQIA+ activist and head of the New Aliens nonmodeling agency. In the long run Jakub has devoted himself to the human body as the central phenomenon of his art.
NEW ALIENS AGENCY is a nonmodeling agency, unique in its wholistic approach. It offers commercial representation of nonmodels, organization of castings, forecasting in various segments, experimental (artistic) projects and a community of uncommon people, who try with the help of their activities to cultivate critical thinking on the contemporary systems and offer various options from the young generation’s perspective. 16.2. 2019 18:00 - KOLAB - video screening
The residency of Jakub Ra, artist working with a community of people from the New Aliens Agency, will deal with issues of the nature and vulnerability of Self, which is undoubtedly connected with our identity, the ego, gender and society. However, in a proper and safe environment without a hierarchy, new visions of hybrid futures can develop. Key words are synthesis, intuition and consciousness.
The Program will introduce several discussions both with the invited guests and nonmodels from the Agency. Topics chosen will be based on the nonmodels’ own experience, while the guests invited will further elaborate on that and offer their critical opinion. A unique happening of all stakeholders should then arise from each discussion.
It is essential for the New Aliens to always invite new people via their statements, those who identify with their apprehension of the contemporary world and its future course. That is why most of the events will be based on working with the community, or it will be happenings for the general public and performances that assume a ritual form.
JAKUB RA is a visual artist, performer and creative manager, a LGBTQ activist and head of the New Aliens nonmodel agency. In the long run Jakub has devoted strong attention to the human body as the pivotal element of his artwork. That is why he has been active in so many media that relate to the body: fashion, photography, performance, food, human community and dance. In fashion he has been creating a multidisciplinary project SOTC (Sperm on the Clothes) for five whole years. In photography he depicts the human body in very complex and deep connections, elaborating metaphysically on all its overlaps, thus striving to work with the body as a real medium open to everyday existence. In his performances he works with the community of the Agency people, exploring the limits of vulnerability, the outreach of art into everyday life and people’s individual identity.
NEW ALIENS AGENCY is a nonmodeling agency, unique in its wholistic approach. It offers commercial representation of nonmodels, organizes castings, forecasting in various segments, experimental (art) projects and a whole community of remarkable people who try by means of their activities to deliver critical thinking about the contemporary systems and a variety of alternatives for the society as seen from the young generation’s viewpoint.
